I was honored to be invited to participate as the collaborative pianist for the University of Tennessee’s Ready for the World Series, for a day of music and cultural experiences from Turkey. I collaborated with my dear friend Sila Darville, violin, and had the opportunity to meet and perform with Gözde Çakır Ramsey, flute, Mert Özkan, cello, and Selim Giray, violin. The performance featured music by A. Annan Saygun, Turgay Erdener, Ekrem Zeki, and arrangements by Aminbay Sapayev, and Sami Uçar & Necati Giray in Sandra G. Powell Recital Hall, Natalie Haslam Music Center.
